Kathleen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated Cum Laude with an option in Dispute Resolution and Professional Responsibility. During her time at uOttawa, Kathleen worked as a Student Caseworker at Pro Bono Student Canada’s Family Justice Centre and was a Student Coach for the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition. Before attending uOttawa, Kathleen completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History and English at Queen’s University.
Prior to being called to the Ontario Bar in June 2025, Kathleen articled at Shariff & Associates. She also completed two summer internships at Shariff & Associates in 2022 and 2023.
Kathleen works in the areas of family law and the preparation of wills and powers of attorney. She is a dedicated lawyer who focuses on achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients and ensuring that their interests are being met. Further, Kathleen is experienced in guiding clients through high conflict situations in order to reach a successful resolution.
Kathleen is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and the York Region Law Association. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, travelling, and volunteering with youth groups.
